Bro Safari - The Drop

Bro Safari made his (or their... not sure) first appearance in the short-lived moombahton scene, but seems to have found his (or their) niche in Trap.  The last song he dropped back in the Fall, That A$$, was an instant favorite at parties, and I can see this piece of Trap gold making moves in the same direction.  Its safe to say we can expect good things from Bro Safari.

Major Lazer - Get Free (Yellow Claw Get Free Money Remix)

Major Lazer back with another solid jam.  Diplo and Switch have been with us for a long time, and I'm happy to see the duo can still crush.

Monsters Calling Home - "Mr. Brightside" Cover

Mr. Brightside pretty much was my childhood, and nothing beats the original, but this cover is pretty amazing.  Its a very relaxing rendition that I could imagine jamming to around a fire on the beach watching the sunset or something.  Good stuff.

Skrillex - The Art of Raw

This tune has more of a soundtrack sound to it, a viable production opportunity Skrillex seems to be dabbling in quite a bit these days.  This one in particular was made for the jeans brand, G-Star, and I REALLY LIKE IT.  It is unlike anything I have ever heard from anyone... No joke, Sonny is really proving that he is a very versatile artist and producer.  Now, I wouldn't necessarily bump this at a party, but this is something I would get HYPED to if it played over a commercial (which it does).  Check out the commercial and then the full version.

Dillon Francis - Bootleg Fireworks (The Rebirth)

Dillon Francis never fails to disappoint.  He's up there with Diplo in my eyes as one of the most diverse electronic producers out there, as they both slide so easily between genres and styles.  It has been a while since I have heard anything truly unique, yet Dillon does a great job of creating a sound with this banger that I really can't categorize.  It's kind of Dubstep, but, then again, I don't really know.  Enjoy!

HEADS UP TO EVERYONE IN DALLAS! Dillon Francis and Trap god Flosstradamus will be crushing the Lizard Lounge Tuesday, March 12th!!!  Tickets are only $20, so you can be sure I'll be there.  Yeah its a Tuesday, but this show is going to be too good to miss!  Get tickets here.

Mackai & Maxx Baer - 'Magnet' (Original Mix)

Mackai is an unfamiliar name to me, but Maxx Baer is a Trap artist that I've been following for a while now and he usually kills it, so naturally I had to check this one out.  I'm happy I did too.  This one is very dark and really goes back to the roots of Trap where guys like Flosstradamus and Baauer started the movement.

Speaking of Baauer, by now I'm sure everyone is familiar with the Harlem Shake youtube craze that he seems to have started.  I would just like to say that I called that this guy would be huge A LONG TIME AGO.  Check out my post from July here!

Afrojack - Rocker (Digital Product Trap Bootleg)

First I would like to say that I'm actually not a big Afrojack fan.  Sue me.  HOWEVER, this is the first time I've heard him try his hand at Trap and he absolutely killed it!  He's got this one right.  With everything I love about Trap, this banger manages to create that big festival sound that many Trap anthems don't really get.  Well done Afrojack.  Make this a trend please.

Zedd - Clarity (Zedd Union Remix)

You all remember Clarity I'm sure.  If not, you should listen to it because it was definitely one of the bigger dance hits of the past few months.  That being said, my favorite part of the song by far are the vocals, as the drop leaves much to be desired.  I unexpectedly came across this remix of the song that completely removes the dance/house aspect of the original and turns it into a poppy, almost orchestral masterpiece.  I don't generally like this genre of music, but when it came to this song, I was too impressed to let it slide.

Zeds Dead - Demons (Music Video)

This song is off of Zeds Dead's newest EP that I posted about earlier, and when I heard it the first time (not gonna lie), I wasn't terribly impressed.  It's kind of repetitive and not really like any of the old Zeds that I used to love.  However, with the introduction of this video I'm exponentially more interested and the song actually starts to grow on me.  Still not something you would bump at a party, but still an interesting listen.  If  Micheal Jackson's, Thriller, and Skrillex's, First of the Year, got together and had a strange, choreographed, demon baby, then the product would look something like this video.  Enjoy.
